How to Do Thomistic Phenomenology?
I'm sorry but I am not fully familiar with Husserlian phenomenology that's why we need to hear from an expert what it is. If the original way of doing phenomenology is to be the method, then Manuel B. Dy, PhD above has faithfully explained to us in a terse but crystal clear way what Husserlian phenomenolgy is. St. John Paul II told though that consciousness is not itself intentional but just mirrors the intentional act of knowing. I am for Thomistic Phenomenology as shown below. I am not for Pure Phenomenology as shown below that somewhat diverted from the metaphysical terrain and created a misinterpretation of consciousness as similar to acts of knowing. The result is that it fully and truly brackets out reality, imprisoned in an inner world. Awareness or consciousness is inside us. Whereas acts of knowing somewhat goes outside and captures being (object of metaphysics). But pure pheno somewhat tells that inside is the same as outside. Of course, outside is not inside. Awa...
