 God made morality personal. God made metaphysics intimate. So it's still the first two solution to our existential trouble if not career trouble tthat we couldn't point something problematic about. Namely communicating with God and gratitude to God. It is so foolish of man to deny a Supreme Being's help, so foolish of him to worship and create a metaphysical creature out of something finite like material being. Let's see robots in the near future almost so perfect we relate to it like it has an immortal soul like we do today with our dogs and cats. But only human beings and angels have eternal existence among all God's creatures. (Although of course we respect all of God's creation be they a fish in the sea or a flower in the sideroad or a majestic mountain.)

And with acceptance of God and his loving plan, we become patient with our selves and others for the fact that all of us creatures are finite including your imperfect dog or cat😆 and the branch of the tree that fell and smacked you in the head. It gets the better of us since we are finite nonetheless. But afterwards recall our learning here and become then patient with our impatience and the whole of creation because God is with us. And by practicing to see the good, the true, and the beautiful happening also in our personal lives, we will overcome our fixation at all the evil that is happening in the world. And thus be able to praise God, rather than blame him. And like St. Therese's "Little Way", we can incarnate the good, the true, and the beautiful in our own little ways too.

Only a theistic phenomenology can restore our sanity. More accurately it is God himself who will restore our sanity in this imperfect and sometimes almost insufferable world which is not just your sanity in your work place. I invite you my friend to talk simply to Jesus. It's a design in your blueprint to talk to a Supreme Being you have shut off as outdated. It is there since time immemorial and part of our natural tendency. God is just out there in the midst of all your busyness and supergadget inventions. He is there waiting for you to talk to him when you feel everything is overwhelming you already. Why? Because God is a Real Being more real than all you can dream about. He is not measurable since he is not a material creature. He is the Creator; you are always downgrading and dethroning his stature. And you want to ask me what is wrong with your working life?

Pero pagkagising ko sa umaga, ganun pa rin ang mga bagay-bagay. Di pa rin ako mayaman kaya di makapag-asawa. Magtatrabaho pa rin ako para sa kakarampot na pera para sa araw na ito. "Naliliitan ka ba sa akin," sabi ni Lord.😄 Let our prayer time and our religion always remind us that God is Great.

 I started phenomenologizing about my career choice but ended up praying. What happened? Recall me as a catholic who cannot bracket out my faith because it is a fundamental part of my being.  Would you believe that practical thinking is ethical thinking? "What path will I choose to achieve the end? Or what means will I use to achieve my goal?" "What should I do," is a practical question. But "What should I do with my life," is already half practical and half theoretical. It can include ethical philosophy already. Now extending it, the question "Lord, what should I do with my life?" becomes a prayer, a summon for help since we know by experience that the situation that is in front of us, is beyond our capacity to solve.  You are also a model maker you may not yet realize though. The model out there for the taking is 20-20-20 rule for avoiding gadget glares and its consequences that for every 20 minute use of gadget with glares, you stop for 20 seconds and look 20 feet away. Then you observed it and acted on it. However, through trial and error you noticed that when you have migraine or is about to onset, 20 minutes is too long, and the 20 second time out is too short, and that 20 feet looking away is abrupt for you that you observed that you still look blank or blurred before you look and observe something 20 feet away. Perhaps you're still in your thought and can't observe things right away.
